Chiropractic for women · Southeast Portland

Care for every chapter.

Your care doesn’t need to begin with a particular life stage. From everyday aches and active pursuits to midlife changes, Dr. Kara offers women space to feel comfortable with another woman, ask questions and be heard. Pregnancy and life after birth are part of that care, too.

Your body, in this moment

Every season deserves attention.

Attention to your everyday experience.

Work, caregiving, training and midlife changes can all shape how you feel. We look at your movement, discomfort and daily demands together, offering care that responds to your life rather than asking you to fit a formula.

Understanding the changes

There’s a lot to make room for.

Work, rest, movement and life changes can each ask something different of your body. We explore joint movement, muscle tension and the habits around your discomfort, with gentle care shaped around you. If you’re pregnant or recovering after birth, positioning and pressure are adapted to your needs. Whatever brings you here, your comfort and choices come first.

The Monarch approach
Questions about women’s care

What you’re welcome to ask.

Yes. Men, trans and LGBTQ+ patients are welcome at Monarch. Dr. Kara specializes in helping women feel comfortable receiving care from another woman, but you don’t need to be a woman to see her. Your identity, comfort and choices are respected, and care is shaped around your individual needs.

You deserve care, too.
